Pottery Wheel Date Night
Spend a fun evening getting your hands dirty! In this workshop, you'll get a taste of making something on the pottery wheel. Your "date" can be a spouse, sibling, best friend, or other favorite person--or come alone and have a "date" with art! No experience necessary. $50 per person, includes all materials ($40 for members). 6:30-8:30 pm.

Pot People Pottery Workshop
April 26
Make a pot person out of clay in this fun workshop! Kristin Streilin will show you how to give your pot personality using easy-to-learn techniques. After glazing and firing, you can take your pot home to plant. No experience necessary! $45 includes all materials to make 1 pot person ($35 for members). Open to ages 12 and up (ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult). 10:30 am-12:30 pm.
Note: You must come back for one of our Clay Studio Nights to glaze your pot.
Ceramic Gnome Workshop
May 17
Learn how to make your own ceramic gnome! After you get the basic shape down, have fun personalizing the gnome to make it uniquely yours. As you work, you will learn various handbuilding techniques with clay. No experience necessary for this beginner-friendly class. Kristin Streilein will teach this workshop. $45 includes all materials to make 1-2 gnomes ($35 for members). Open to ages 12 and up (ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult). May 17, 10:30 am-12:30 pm.

Beginning Wheel
June 3-July 29
Learn the basic principles of making pottery on the wheel in this 8-week class, including cups, bowls, and more. No experience necessary! Ages 16 and up. The cost is $225 for non-members, $190 for members, and includes all materials and firings. Meets Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm, starting June 3.
Pitchers on the Wheel
April 28, May 5 & May 19
LEVEL: Advanced beginner to intermediate
Learn how to form pitchers on the wheel in this 3-session class with Johnnie Skelton. She'll teach you how to shape your pitcher, create a spout, add a handle, and glaze your piece for a beautiful, finished look. Basic wheel throwing skills are required before taking this class. You should already be able to throw a cylinder, such as you might learn in an 8-week Beginning Wheel class. Ages 16 and up. The cost is $105 for non-members, $85 for members, and includes all materials. 6:30-8:30 pm.
