Pottery Wheel Date Night
Spend a fun evening getting your hands dirty! In this workshop, you'll get a taste of making something on the pottery wheel. Your "date" can be a spouse, sibling, best friend, or other favorite person--or come alone and have a "date" with art! No experience necessary. $50 per person, includes all materials ($40 for members). 6:30-8:30 pm.

Ceramic Gnome Workshop
October 18
Learn how to make your own ceramic gnome! After you get the basic shape down, have fun personalizing the gnome to make it uniquely yours. As you work, you will learn various handbuilding techniques with clay. No experience necessary for this beginner-friendly class. Kristin Streilein will teach this workshop. $45 includes all materials to make 1-2 gnomes ($35 for members). Open to ages 12 and up (ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult). October 18, 10:30 am-12:30 pm.
Note: You must come back for one of our Clay Studio Nights to glaze your gnomes.
Mini Raku Class
November 3, 10 & 17
Learn how to throw miniature forms, glaze them, and Raku fire them using a microwave in this 3-week class with Heatherly Day. You'll work on making your pieces in the first 2 sessions, and fire them with the guidance of the instructor in the final session. Open to ages 16 & up. The cost is $100 for non-members, $80 for members, and includes all materials and firings. Meets 6:30-8:30 pm.
Christmas Tree Luminary Workshop
November 13
Learn how to make your own luminaries shaped like a Christmas tree! No experience necessary. Kristin Streilein will make it easy. $50 includes all materials ($40 for members). Luminaries will be fired in the kiln, glazed by the instructor, and available for pick up in December or shipped for an additional fee. Open to ages 12 and up (ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult). 6:30-8:30 pm.
Mug Painting at Sweet Eleanor’s
November 15
We're offering pottery painting at Sweet Eleanor's! Paint a ceramic mug with your own colorful designs. Even if you're not feeling creative, that's ok--our instructor will show you some simple examples to inspire you. Enjoy coffee and pastries from Sweet Eleanor's while you paint. After painting your mug, it will be fired in The 567's kiln and ready to be used at home 1-2 weeks later. Finished mugs can be picked up at The 567 Center. The cost is $25 and includes one 12 oz. mug and painting supplies (refreshments must be purchased from Sweet Eleanor's). Open to ages 10 and up (children must be accompanied by a participating adult). 10:30 am-12:30 pm, at 530 Poplar St, Macon.
