The 567 Center for Renewal dreams of a vibrant downtown Macon filled with the arts and with successful creative professionals, a downtown enjoyed by people of all ages from all places. For the last eight years, The 567 Center has been a pillar of quality of life in downtown Macon and a vibrant catalyst for community strength and economic development.

The heart of what do is the arts because art is a powerful vehicle for growth. Arts events and experiences have the power to create jobs, attract tourism dollars, and give people a stronger connection to Macon.

Some of our accomplishments this year include attracting over 500 people to downtown Macon with art events, establishing a new pottery studio for beginning and professional potters, building a graffiti wall in the alley for legal graffiti art, offering free art activities around downtown on the Art Cart, and expanding our kids’ summer camp.

We are indebted to the members and donors who have already contributed to our success over the past eight years. Nevertheless, successful fundraising efforts are necessary in order for us to continue to grow in community impact. We would love to grow Amplify, a program to help local artists and other creative professionals build their creative businesses. We're continually working to add classes in new mediums and expand our kids' classes. We also have ideas for outside our walls, to bring more art and events to other places downtown.
